MatCut ("we", "our", or "the app") is a creative scrapbook and photo collage application. This Privacy Policy explains what information we handle and how we handle it when you use MatCut on the web or via the Android app.

When you use the background removal feature, the photo you select is temporarily sent to our processing server to remove the background. This happens over an encrypted HTTPS connection.

MatCut does not use any analytics services, advertising networks, cookies, or tracking technologies. We do not track your usage behavior, device identifiers, or location.
MatCut does not integrate any third-party SDKs, advertising networks, or data brokers. The app functions entirely through your browser and our own server for background removal only.
MatCut does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13 years of age. The app does not require any personal data to function.
All communication between the app and our server uses HTTPS encryption. Since we do not collect or store personal data, there is no user database that could be compromised.
Since MatCut stores all your data locally on your device and does not collect personal information, you retain full control of your data at all times. You can delete your creations directly within the app or by clearing your browser storage.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
